Rachel Medellin

Originally from Michigan, Rachel moved to Connecticut in 2018. She started her apprenticeship with Black Velvet Ink in 2021, and also runs the shop social media. She enjoys tattooing black and gray illustrative and realistic pieces, but also loves branching out and trying different styles. Outside of the shop, she teaches pole dance and aerials at Aerial Arts Fitness and enjoys spending time with her husband. You can follow her working on instagram @rm.inked.
